Summer temperatures across the Sultanate regularly push engines — and their oil — to the limit. A few simple habits make a big difference.
Check your oil level regularly
Park on level ground, wait a few minutes after switching off, and check the dipstick. Top up with the same grade if needed.
Follow the right service interval
Heat, dust, towing and heavy traffic are considered “severe” conditions by many manufacturers. Follow the interval in your owner’s manual for your driving conditions.
Use the recommended grade
Using the viscosity grade and API category your manufacturer specifies keeps protection where it should be.
Don’t forget the filter
Replace the oil filter at every oil change so clean oil stays clean.
